Warranty Policy
Understanding your product warranty and coverage
1. Product Warranty Coverage
- The Toner Group provides products backed by manufacturer warranties as a trusted reseller of printer cartridges and hardware.
- Warranty information and period for all products are determined by the manufacturer, not The Toner Group. This applies to both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and non-OEM products purchased from us.
- Important: Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer. Please refer to the
manufacturer's documentation included with your product for details such as:
- Warranty duration
- What is covered under warranty
- Exclusions and limitations
- How to make a warranty claim
2. Faulty Product Policy
- Do Not Discard the Product: If you suspect you have a faulty product, do not throw it out. The product and its batch number are required for warranty or manufacturer defect claims.
- Locate the Batch Number: The batch number (on a white label on the cartridge)
is essential for warranty processing. It helps us:
- Accurately identify the product
- Track manufacturing information
- Claim the product as defective with the manufacturer if applicable
- Free Replacement for Defective Products: Once a product is classified as defective, The Toner Group will replace it free of charge to ensure customer satisfaction.
- How to Report a Faulty Product:
- Contact us via email or phone with your order details
- Provide the batch number and a description of the issue
- We will assess the product and issue a Return Authorization (RA) number
- Return the product with the RA number clearly marked
- Once verified as defective, we will send your replacement
3. Australian Consumer Law
- Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by manufacturer warranties.
- Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
- You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
